Biju Radhakrishnan's advocate claims Saritha S Nair threatened her on MLA's role

Ms Peter said she received threat calls from Saritha immediately after the news of the claims came out on Thursday afternoon.

MALAPPURAM: Nisha K. Peter, the lawyer of Biju Radhakrishnan who is an accused in the solar scam cases, on Thursday alleged that Saritha S. Nair, another accused, threatened her after Radhakrishnan claimed that he had more ‘explosive’ pieces of evidences against K.B Ganesh Kumar, MLA, in connection with the solar scam. Ms Peter said she received threat calls from Saritha immediately after the news of the claims came out on Thursday afternoon. “She ringed me nine times repeatedly but I attended only two or three calls,” she said. “She used threatening language throughout the conversation warning me of dare consequences.”

Radhakrishnan on Thursday demanded that Mr Ganesh Kumar be made an accused in the case and expressed his willingness to hand over ample evidences against him. He made the  claim through his lawyer when he was brought to be produced before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court in Perinthalmanna on Thursday in connection with another case related to solar scam. He also claimed that former chief minister Oommen Chandy made him a scapegoat in the case by raking up Reshmi murder case and demanded a reinvestigation in to it. He is now serving life imprisonment for the crime.
