HYDERABAD: After nearly eight years, people from poor and lower middle classes who own land could get financial support from the government to construct their own houses. Alongside the 2BHK house scheme, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had assured that the government would provide Rs 3 lakh to build their houses if the beneficiaries possessed land.

With the polls approaching, some MLAs have made a list of potential beneficiaries for the housing financial aid scheme.
