Rs 2.17-cr guest house inaugurated at Telangana Tirumala temple

NIZAMABAD: Endowments minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy, Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and roads minister V. Prashanth Reddy on Saturday inaugurated the Rs 2.17-crore Srinivasa guest house near the ‘Telangana Tirumala’ temple at Timmapur of Bikrur mandal in Kamareddy district on Saturday. 

Indrakaran Reddy said on the occasion that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was religious and sought to build temples, citing the reconstruction of the Yadadri Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy temple with black stone at a cost of
Rs 1,200 crore.

 Srinivas Reddy said the endowments department would help to develop the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple at Timmapur and that the Chief Minister had cleared Rs 23 crore for it. He said that the main temple, with four Rajagopurams, a ghat road, Kalyana Mandapam (premises for ritual) and guest houses were completed on the temple premises. The Speaker urged donors to ensure the development of the temple.

 Music director Koti held a programme on the occasion, while Kartika Vanabhojanalu (a food ritual in the Hindu month of Kartika) was also arranged for the devotees. 

 Zaheerabad MP B.B. Patil, MLAs Hanmanth Shinde, Jajala Surender, municipal administration commissioner and director N. Satyanarayana, Kamareddy district collector Jitesh V. Patil, Kamareddy SP B. Srinivas Reddy, Nizamabad ZP chairpersons Dafedar Shobha and Dadannagari Vittal Rao, former MP S. Venugopala Chary, Assembly secretary V. Narasimha Charyulu, TRSLP secretary Ramesh Reddy and DCCB chairman Pocharam Bhaskar Reddy were present.
