250 projects in Dhone nearing completion: Buggana

Kurnool: Finance minister Buggana Rajendranath has announced that several of the 250 development projects in Dhone constituency are nearing completion.

“Efforts are on to complete all these projects by January. These include major initiatives like the 100-bed hospital, the MSME training centre, the veterinary polytechnic college, the IDTR and the national highway project,” he said.

On Wednesday morning, minister Buggana did a 'morning walk' with the residents of Dhone. He interacted with them.

The day also saw the inauguration of the modernised RTC bus stand, which was renovated at a cost of '45 lakh.

The finance minister explained the comprehensive development efforts undertaken in even the most remote villages. A wide range of infrastructure and community projects have been completed. These were initiated across every mandal and include the construction and improvement of roads, government buildings and tourist areas, he said.

Further, he spoke about the restoration of shrines, the establishment of polytechnics, ITI colleges, central schools, clubs, parks, swimming pools, indoor stadiums, city parks, and market yards, as part of this development initiative.

The minister inspected several ongoing construction projects, including the Dhone ITI Hostel built at a cost of '10 crore, the vegetable market costing '17 crore, and a club house being constructed with '4.80 crore.

Minister Buggana showed around the new municipal building to ZP chairman Y Papireddy. His visit included a tour of the town hall and its meeting hall.

ZP chairman Yerrabotula Papireddy, municipal chairman S Rajesh, MPP Rajasekhar Reddy, RDO Venkata Reddy, Kurnool municipal commissioner Bhargava Teja, Dhone MRO Vidyasagar and others were present.
