Rs 50 Crore for Development of Maddileti Swamy Temple: Buggana

Kurnool: Finance minister Buggana Rajendranath has said the Maddileti Narasimha Swamy Temple , in RS Rangapuram village would be renovated with a budget of Rs.50 crore.

On Tuesday, the minister held a review meeting with officials about construction of the temple's front gate with granite. The work would cost Rs.2.75 crore.

The minister said the temple development, modeled on Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, would not negatively impact the local shopkeepers.

He emphasized the importance of rapidly completing the temple's pillar installation, saying that the necessary materials were already arranged. “The temple's development would benefit the local community and shopkeepers as we are transforming the area into a spiritual and tourism centre.”

The minister inaugurated the expansion of the 2-lane road in Peapully town into a 4-lane road, at a cost of Rs.16 crore. He said the renovation of facilities, including toilets at the bus station, would cost Rs.67 lakh.

The minister inaugurated the modernized Shaadi Khana building, which underwent renovations at a cost of Rs.30 lakh. Zilla Parishad chairman Yerrabotula Papireddy, meat corporation chairman Sriramulu, the Maddileti Swamy Temple chairman Ramachandradu, YSR Congress Nandyal general secretary Burugula Shyam Reddy, executive officer of the Maddileti Swamy Temple Panduranga Reddy and others participated in the events.
