Assistant polling officer dies of heart attack

TIRUPATI: A senior assistant on election duty at Mallela Sanjeevaiah High School polling station in Balaji Nagar in Nellore died of heart attack late on Sunday. He was making arrangements for the polling on Monday. The deceased was Syed Khaja Mohiuddin (55) of Kavali, senior assistant with SPDCL in Nellore division.

"While at the distribution centre, Mohiuddin informed his colleagues that he felt congestion in his chest. He was shifted to a government hospital. The family members of Mohiuddin later took him to a private hospital, where he died, officials said.
