Hyderabad: One held for adulteration

Hyderabad: Police busted a milk adulteration racket in LB Nagar and arrested the owner of the unit Modramoni Yadagiri, 57. Police said Yadagiri was adulterating milk and curds by mixing milk powder in milk packets.

Police seized 22 kg milk powder, 102 packets of NSR milk packets, 22 packets of Nandini milk, two tins of alcohol measuring eight litres, two acid tins of nine litres, a packing, processing and weighing machines, two tins of curd measuring 80 litres and loose milk packets. The arrested man and the seized material were handed over to LB nagar police station.
