Hyderabad: As police teams are searching for Poornima Sai, two more girls went missing in Bachupally. One of the girls was found at her grandparents’ house in Khammam. There is no progress in the Poornima case so far.

S. Yamini, 16, a resident of Nizampet, passed SSC and her parents were planning to admit her in a college in Nizampet. On Tuesday morning she went to her uncle Ramakrishna Reddy's house. Later, she left home. The family found her missing in the afternoon and approached the police.

As the police launched a probe, the family came to know that Yamini had reached her grandparent’' house in Khammam. She said she ran away as she did not want to study in Hyderabad. In the other incident, Durgadevi, 14, a resident of Bachu-pally, left home to buy grocery and did not come back. A missing case was registered with the police.

Meanwhile, 14 police teams are scanning the city to find Poornima Sai. They did not get any updates on the girl from the Vizag, Yanam and Shirdi police.

Efforts to retrieve the girl’s WhatsApp conversations did not yield result. “The girl is now not using a phone and did not access her Gmail after she went missing,” ACP N. Bhujanga Rao said.

Sources said the girl was addicted to mobile phone and used to chat with friends till late in the night which angered her parents. This could have made her run away.
