Four From UP Killed In Freak Road Accident

 Nizamabad: Four persons from Uttar Pradesh who had got down from a bus to see an accident were killed on National Highway 44 when a speeding van hit them, in Chandrayanpally of Indalwai mandal on Saturday.

Police said a paddy-cutting machine had got stuck on the highway, affecting vehicular traffic. Meanwhile, a private bus proceeding to Uttar Pradesh hit another lorry on the highway. The bus passengers deboarded to see the accident and were hit by the van.

Two persons died on the spot and two others succumbed to their injuries at the Government General Hospital in Nizamabad.

The deceased were identified as Ganesh, 22, Durgesh, 16, of Balrampur district, Jitthu, 32, of Siddarthnagar, and Pradeep, 21, of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.
