Railway passenger gives birth to baby boy in Tadepalligudem

Kakinada: A 23-year-old woman gave birth to a baby boy in Tadepalligudem, West Godavari district, on Friday.

Rashmitha and her husband, Sushanth Kumar, were traveling in the Dharti Aaba express train from Coimbatore to Balamgir for delivery.

When she got labour pains, the railway authorities arranged an ambulance at Tadepalligudem Railway station and took her to Area Hospital in the town, where she gave birth to a baby boy.

The doctors said that the mother and the child are safe.
