Hyderabad: MBA student rescued from 3 kidnappers

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police on Monday arrested two students and a youth, involved in kidnap of an MBA student, a week ago in Petbasheerabad.

The arrested were identified as Kandikhatla Joel, 21, a third year engineering student of Malla Reddy college, M. Prem Kumar, 22, a 2nd year Degree student and  Mohd Riyaz, 20, who is works for a private firm.

The victim was identified as P. Pawan Kumar, a 2nd year MBA student of Malla Reddy College.

On November 6, his classmate asked him to accompany her to her degree college in Erragadda to collect her scholarship amount. when he refused to go with her, she offered to pay for his fuel.

When he still rejected, an argument broke out between them. Depressed by this, the girl called her boyfriend Joel and told him about the argument.

Next day, Joel along with his friends Prem and Riyaz came to Pawan’s college in an SUV beraing registeration No. TS 07 EU 6868 and called Pawan out to talk.
“When Pawan came out, they beat him up, put him in the vehicle and drove away. They later dropped him at Shapurnagar,” the ACP said.

When other students noticed Pawan being beaten up, they alerted the police. The police traced the car and within two hours they rescued Pawan. The police arrested the three suspects and produced them before the court. The three suspects were sent to ramand.
