MP CM orders to prepare roadmap for implementing Modi's guarantees'

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Dr Mohan Yadav on Thursday ordered the state government departments to prepare a roadmap for implementation of the promises made by BJP in the run up to the November assembly polls, called as ‘Modi’s guarantees’.

Chairing the high level official meeting here, Mr Yadav said that there should be coordination among the departments to prepare the roadmap for the implementation of the poll promises of BJP.

All the promises made by BJP before the polls should be implemented within a time frame, he ordered.

Mr Yadav said that the implementation of the ‘Modi’s guarantees’ would be monitored at regular intervals by state chief secretary Veera Rana and a separate portal is needed to be created showcasing the progress in the implantation of the promises.

Besides the chief secretary, the additional chief secretaries, and secretaries of the departments were present at the meeting.

In another development, state BJP president Vishnu Dutt Sharma hailed the chief minister for setting in motion the move to implement the ‘Modi’s guarantees’ made for Madhya Pradesh before the polls.

He said that the state cabinet in its first meeting on Wednesday gave its nod to increase the procurement price of ‘tendu’ leaf from Rs 3,000 per to Rs 4,000 per bagful of the forest produce.
