Fire Erupts at GHMC Charminar Circle Office; No Injuries Reported

 Hyderabad: A fire broke out at the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Charminar circle office on Sunday. No injuries or casualties were reported.  The fire broke out on the second floor of the G-2 building of the Moghalpura Sports Complex, which is used as the GHMC office.

It was stated that some files related to the GHMC property tax and town planning wings were gutted. Officlas said that digital copies of the records were available.  

The GHMC's Directorate of Enforcement Vigilance and Disaster Management (EV&DM) personnel went to the spot and doused the fire along with the officials of TS Disaster Response and Fire Services (TSDFS) department. A fire tender was also pressed into service. "It was a minor fire. The reason for fire is yet to established," said an EV&DM official.
