CM, Governor recall sacrifice of Jesus Christ

Vijayawada: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan stated that the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Good Friday and his resurrection on Easter Sunday are the significant events in the history of humanity.

In a message on Thursday to mark Good Friday, the CM said that Jesus Christ’s love towards humanity, compassion for the helpless, forgiveness for enemies, tolerance and sacrifice, know no bounds.

Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan said that Jesus Christ showed great love for humanity and made the ultimate sacrifice for the well being of all people.

He said that Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice is remembered with solemn hymns and prayers of thanksgiving.
