KTR thanks Shah for CAPF exams in Telugu
HYDERABAD: Municipal administration and information technology minister K. T. Rama Rao on Saturday thanked Union home minister Amit Shah for approving the conduct of constable (general duty) examination for Central Armed Police Forces in 13 regional languages, in addition to Hindi and English.
A few days ago, the minister had urged to hold the examination in regional languages including Telugu. “I thank HM @AmitShah Ji for agreeing to conduct the CRPF examination in 13 regional languages including Telugu. This will surely help thousands of aspirants from Telugu-speaking states,” he tweeted. (sic)
The CAPFs are the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and the National Security Guard (NSG).
In a landmark decision, the home ministry on Saturday approved the examination in regional languages as well after the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and K.T. Rama Rao requested the same.
