Pawan Kalyan to meet Tirupati SP to seek action against CI
Vijayawada: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is scheduled to visit Tirupati today to submit a representation to the district superintendent of police (SP) urging action against circle inspector (CI) Anju Yadav for assaulting party leader Kotte Sai in Srikalahasti recently.
Following a teleconference with party leaders from Tirupati district on Saturday, Pawan Kalyan and the Jana Sena leadership decided to meet the district police chief. Pawan Kalyan is expected to arrive at Renigunta airport at 9:30 am and proceed to the SP's office at 10:30 am to submit the representation.
Jana Sena political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar stated that the party leadership had resolved to take up the issue with the Director General of Police (DGP) through the Tirupati district SP urging him to take action against the CI for assaulting their party leader who was peacefully participating in a protest.
