Hyderabad: Threatened by bookie, youth kills self

According to the SR nagar police, who have arrested the accused, the deceased. V Ravi, 21, took his life on August 4 by hanging himself.

Hyderabad: A person, who was involved in illegal cricket betting, had allegedly threatened a youth with dire consequence after he couldn’t repay the money he had bet on a cricket match.

According to the  SR nagar police, who have arrested the accused, the deceased. V Ravi, 21, took his life on August 4 by hanging himself.

According to the complaint from the deceased’s father V. Vishnu Murthy stated that  his son  was on phone calls from the morning, he was talking to the phone calls outside of the home and coming inside and was feeling tensed on the day of suicide (Aug 4). The complainant had overlooked it.

At about 8:10 evening hours complainant went out of their home and at about 8:20  in the evening his wife, who went to work, returned home to find their son, V. Ravi, had hung  himself.
