VIJAYAWADA: The ACB court has adjourned the hearing on the bail plea of Telugu Desam supremo and one of the accused in the AP skill development scam worth Rs 371 crore, N. Chandrababu Naidu to September 19.

The ACB court held a hearing here on Friday on the bail petition moved by Naidu through his counsel Dammalapati Srinivas on Thursday, claiming that the AP CID had booked a case against him though his alleged role in the scam was not established.

However, the AP CID argued against the grant of bail to Naidu for which the court directed the AP CID to file its counter.

Meanwhile, the court observed that as the FIR quash petition was filed in the High Court and hearing was pending, any conduct of hearing on bail plea would be having its impact on quash petition.

Moreover, the AP CID also moved another petition earlier in the court seeking custody of Naidu for interrogation,

However, the court adjourned the matter for next hearing to September 19.
