THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Despite the criticism that he had delayed action against Chandy, chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan is apparently awaiting the opinion of the NCP national leadership. The LDF, including NCP, had on Sunday entrusted the chief minister with taking an appropriate decision.
When mediapersons sought chief minister’s reaction on high court asking the minister he better step down, the chief minister said “suitable action will be taken at the appropriate time.” The chief minister is already armed with the Collector’s report and the A-G’s advice. And now the HC strictures, but he does not want to be seen riding roughshod on a coalition partner whose fate is sealed.
