Andhra Pradesh: Tilaru Railway Station to get a facelift

Visakhapatnam:  The Tilaru Railway Station, on the main line of the Waltair Division, is set for a major makeover, including new amenities and a revamped station building to enhance the overall experience for passengers. The project will focus on infrastructure improvement and enhancement of passenger amenities, with the provision of a new booking office, waiting hall, and a redesigned station master panel room.

During a recent inspection at Tilaru Station, divisional railway manager Saurabh Prasad and ADRM Manoj Kumar Sahoo, along with senior officials, reviewed the proposed plans and discussed the implementation timeline. The officials emphasised the importance of ensuring minimal disruption to passenger services during the renovation work.
