Singapore-based NRI devotee launches third spiritual book at Tirumala
Tirupati: Venkata Vinod Parimi, a Singapore-based devotee and regional director (Asia-Pacific) at Miele Pvt Ltd, launched his third spiritual book, "Daivam tho Naa Anubhavalu-3," at the renowned Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) temple in Tirumala on Friday.
This latest offering marks the culmination of Parimi's "Daivam tho Naa Anubhavalu" trilogy, a collection of 22 short stories that chronicle his personal experiences with divine forces.
Before the book launch, Parimi demonstrated his deep devotion by donating Rs 1 lakh to the TTD-run Gosamrakshana trust, which works to protect and care for cows. He personally handed over the donation receipt and a copy of his new book to TTD executive officer A.V. Dharma Reddy at the latter's office in Tirumala.
Parimi's spiritual journey took an interesting turn during the Covid-19 pandemic. With international travel restrictions in place, he found himself unable to visit the revered Tirumala temple. This period of enforced separation from the temple fueled his creative fire, and he poured his longing and spiritual experiences into his first book, "Daivam tho Naa Anubhavalu," co-authored by his close friend from India, M. Ramesh Kumar.
The success of Parimi's debut book was heartening. Within a year, he released a second book in the series, and the proceeds from both books, amounting to approximately Rs 3 lakh, were donated to the TTD's Gosamrakshana trust.
Parimi's commitment to sharing his spiritual insights extends beyond printed words.
He is dedicated to making his work accessible to everyone, and has announced plans to release Braille versions of all three books in the "Daivam tho Naa Anubhavalu" series, ensuring that his message of faith and hope reaches even those with visual impairments.
