Kochi: Pulsar Sunil’s lawyer on Wednesday approached the Kerala High Court seeking anticipatory bail in the case. Police submitted that it would not arrest Pradeesh Chacko till March 22.  The court recorded the submission and adjourned the hearing.

The lawyer who represented Pulsar Suni is set to appear before the investigating officer on Thursday following the notice issued by the police.

The petitioner argued that the police threatened him stating that he would be made an accused in the case, news would be published/aired in the media and searches would be conducted in his office, residence and even the school where his child was studying.

He also pointed out that after fabricating a mahazar and confession statement of Pulsar Suni, the police was trying to arrest and implicate him in the case.

Apprehending arrest and torture in the case, he had approached the Court. The police had issued a notice to the advocate asking him to be present before the officer for questioning.
