Mercury crosses 41 degree Celsius for third day in Hyderabad
Met department has predicted that dry weather will continue with no significant change in temperatures.
Hyderabad: At 41.5ºC, Hyderabad crossed the 41ºC-mark for the third consecutive day on Friday. Nizamabad recorded the highest in the state at 44.9ºC, followed by Adilabad at 44.1ºC. Medak was 43.6ºC while Nalgon-da and Ramagundam recorded 43.4ºC.
The Met department has predicted that dry weather will continue with no significant change in temperatures. Fore-cast for the coming two days is clear skies with temperature between 43ºC and 27ºC.
The night temperatures too have been rising. Hyderabad recorded a minimum of 27.4ºC that is 3ºC above normal. The highest temperature recorded so far in AP on Friday was at Anantapur at 44.2ºC. Kurnool had 43.6ºC, Kadapa 42.9ºC and Tirupati 40.4ºC. Met department warned of heat wave conditions in 37 mandals.
