TSRTC to ply Hyderabad-Vijayawada e-buses

 HYDERABAD: The TSRTC will be introducing 10 electric buses on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada route from Miyapur on Tuesday.

Officials said that by the end of the year all the 50 e-buses, named E-Garuda, in their fleet will be functioning on the busiest road link between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Corporation officials stated that in the coming two years, they will be introducing 1,860 electric buses, of which 1,300 will be operating within Hyderabad. Apart from 550 buses for long distances, they will also operate 10 double-deckers.
