Kerala: Badge of honour for 11 officers

Officers are selected for badge of honour considering factors like number of cases investigated and rate of conviction.

Thiruvananthapuram: As many as eleven officers who served at the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau were presented with badge of honour for excellence for the year 2015. State police chief and Vigilance director Loknath Behera, while presenting the badges here on Friday, said steps were being taken to present the badges of honour without backlog as well as to introduce cash prizes as part of the honour.

Those selected for the honour were SP P. N. Ramesh Kumar, DySPs R. Mahesh and S. Suresh Kumar, inspectors M. M. Jose, K. Baijukumar, Hari Vidyadharan, P. Balakrishnan Nair and V. Balakrishnan, sub-inspector C. D. Joy and additional sub-inspectors Shaju P. V. and Lirar P. P.  Officers are selected for badge of honour considering factors like number of cases investigated and rate of conviction.
