Andhra Pradesh Chambers signs MoU with ICSI
AP Chambers’ president-elect P. Bhaskara Rao said the main motive of Chambers is overall economic development of Andhra Pradesh
VIJAYAWADA: AP Chambers has on Saturday signed an MoU with Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Amaravati chapter, to bring awareness among its members on regulatory compliances related to corporate affairs, taxation matters, public listing of MSMEs, investments, and other related matters.
Speaking on the occasion, AP Chambers’ president-elect P. Bhaskara Rao said the main motive of Chambers is overall economic development of Andhra Pradesh. For the purpose, the Chambers has remained closely associated with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Vijayawada chapter, for many years. It has now signed an MoU with ICSI.
“Company secretaries play an important role in helping businesses meet all statutory requirements and compliances. ICSI and Chambers need to work together for improving Ease of Doing Business in Andhra Pradesh. AP Chambers has already been giving inputs to both central and state governments on important policies,” Bhaskara Rao underlined.
ICSI, Amaravati chapter chairman R. Manikiran said their association and AP Chambers will help company secretaries connect with businesses across the state and offer their services. He thanked AP Chambers for signing the MoU with ICSI.
