Army Recruitment Rally at Thapar Stadium, Secunderabad

Hyderabad: An Army recruitment rally under Unit Headquarters Quota is to be held at Thapar Stadium, AOC Centre, Secunderabad, from January 1 to March 10 for the enrolment of Agniveers for general duty, technical, administration assistant/SKT (AOC ward only), tradesmen 10th standard, tradesmen 8th standard category and outstanding sportsmen (open category).  Age criteria is between 17½ to 21 years.

Those applying in the sportsmen category are required to report at the Thapar Stadium, by 6 am on December 29, for trial, a release said. This is open to those who have represented India at the international or national level, (senior/junior) and have won a medal in individual event or reached eighth position in a team event. The certificates should not be more than two years old on the date of screening.
