Activist Cyril Reddy passes away at his residence in Hyderabad
As part of the legal team led by late Bojja Tarakam, he was involved in fact-finding missions and represented victims of caste massacres.

Hyderabad: Advocate, activist and engineer Cyril Reddy passed away on Thursday morning of a lung ailment at his residence.
Brother of Osmania University icon George Reddy, Cyril was the backroom organiser for several activities such as Salaha, a legal aid resource centre for the poor; Hyderabad Book Trust, a non-profit Telugu publishing network; and Nalupu, the first Dalit little magazine.
As part of the legal team led by late Bojja Tarakam, he was involved in fact-finding missions and represented victims of caste massacres.
After George's murder in 1972, Cyril plunged into full-time radical Left politics.
Cyril will be cremated at 1 pm at Mahaprasthanam, Whisper Valley, Jubilee Hills.
