Adilabad ring road taking shape in rural mandal
Ramanna pointed out that people from Indravelli can now take Chichidhar Khanapur route
ADILABAD: As part of ring road around Adilabad town, a majority of interior villages have been given road connectivity with mandal headquarters which, in turn, have been connected to district headquarters. High-level bridges have been constructed on streams and rivulets, enabling free movement of vehicles, particularly in Adilabad constituency.
Adilabad MLA Jogu Ramanna of TRS said the ring road from Adilabad town via Khandala, Lohera, Saleguda, Marutiguda and Dubbaguda villages, apart from Satnala project, is under development. Soon, a pending bridge will be constructed at Chilatiguda in Adilabad rural mandal.
Ramanna pointed out that People from Indravelli can now take Chichidhar Khanapur route, cross over to Khandala over the newly constructed bridge and reach Adilabad town. They had to otherwise take the Gudihathnoor route.
Distance to Adilabad from interior areas has come down with improved road connectivity. Even four-wheelers can easily move around these villages without much difficulty, unlike in the past.
Marsakola Sarangarao of Mamidiguda has expressed happiness over the improved road connectivity, but regretted poor quality of roads at some places.
He pointed out that some portions of the newly laid roads have already got damaged and developed potholes. He requested MLA Jogu Ramanna to get these roads repaired, so that people can ride their bikes and four-wheelers without difficulty.
