ALAPPUZHA: A Malayali dental doctor, Tinu Thomas, 28, was on Friday found dead in his car in Melbourne, the Australian capital city where he was settled with his parents. According to Sajan George, a close relative of Tinu’s family in Edathua here, they were informed about the incident by their cousins over phone on Friday morning. Tinu was the only son of Sajan’s elder brother Thomas George and Annie George. He said that they did not know the cause of the death and whether his body would be brought here. They were told that investigations were going on.
Tinu had visited his ancestral house, Vettuparambil at Edathua, three years ago along with his parents. Thomas George had moved to South Africa in 1983 and worked there as a teacher for a long time. They migrated to Australia three years ago for the sake of the higher studies of their son. Tinu was born and brought up in South Africa. Sajan said that his cousins in Australia were trying to bring the body to Edathua where they have their property.
