Road works to follow pipeline completion: Buggana
Kurnool: Finance minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy said that the construction of a local road in Bethamcherla had been halted due to the ongoing major irrigation project.
He further added that a 70-kilometre pipeline was being laid from Gorukallu. This project, part of a ' 350 crore initiative, is being expedited to ensure the supply of drinking water to Bethamcherla by the end of the month, he stated.
During his visit on Sunday to Boyapet, Durgapet, Chakalipet, and Kotapeta colonies in Bethamcherla town, Buggana addressed concerns about the incomplete road. He assured that after the roads in the entire Dhone constituency were finished, the road in Chakalipet colony would not be neglected and would be constructed following the completion of the pipeline works. Bethamcherla Municipal chairman Chalam Reddy, MPP Nagabhushanam Reddy, Maddileti Swami Temple chairman Ramachandrudu, and others participated.
