Sahikara Yatra Draws Huge Gathering at Palamaneru
Anantapur: Deputy chief minister Amjad Bhasha praised Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for ushering in a social revolution that has brought cheer to weaker sections, who have benefitted from innumerable welfare schemes. He said that Reddy was the only Chief Minister to give the deputy CM post to a member from the minorities’ category.
He was addressing a gathering that assembled for Samajika Sadhikaratha bus yatra at Palamaneru in Tirupati district on Saturday. The heavy rainfall did not deter the huge gathering, which sat through the programme.
Bhasha said that during the TD regime, N. Chandrababu Naidu had used the BCs, SCs, STs and minorities for his political benefits while doing nothing for their welfare.
"Jagan Mohan Reddy has been giving equal opportunities to all sections", he said.
Another deputy CM Narayana Swamy said that the YSR Arogya Sri will be another boost for the poorer strata as they could now get corporate level treatment to the tune of '25 lakh.
"There is no need for people to worry even if they are inflicted with chronic diseases", he observed.
Legislator Anilkumar Yadav said that Jagan Reddy has made BCs the ‘Backbone Class’ by encouraging them across sectors. People will never believe Chandrababu Naidu who only works for his selfish gains. People are fully with the YSRC administration.”
