To give them company was 250 elders who included hemophilia patients and members of their families. The children were divided into junior and senior categories . The organisers made it a point to given a consolation prize to all participants while winners and runners-up too were given prizes.
Actors Honey Rose and Tiny Tom joined them at the function and activities held at the auditorium of the Aluva District Hospital, which threw them on cloud nine.
Officials led by Dr N. Vijayakumar, the medical officer in charge of the hemophilia centre, made it a point to present the patients with an ID card on the occasion detailing factors related to their blood and the vaccination they have taken.
When balloons in blue and white colours went up in the air, the gathering of hemophilic patients regaled. Around 600 patients seek care at the centre here.
