Tamilisai visits Somnath, takes part in Tamil Sangamam

 HYDERABAD: Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan on Monday visited Somnath to take part in the Saurashtra Tamil Sangamam, the second such event she has participated. Earlier in November 2022, she visited Kashi to take part in the Kashi Tamil Sangamam.

The Governor joined defence minister Rajnath Singh for the event in Somnath, home to the Sri Somanatha temple, abode of one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India.

Dr Govindarajan visited the temple and offered prayers, according to a news release from Raj Bhavan. The Governor also addressed the Saurashtra Tamil Sangamam, an event that brought together
