Hyderabad: The second national youth conference, 2019, hosted by the archdiocese of Hyderabad, organised by the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) at the Catholic Health Association of India (CHAI) concluded here on Thursday.

With over 450 people, from 70 dioceses, showcasing 14 regional cultures from all over India, the five-day conference which commenced on October 13th, was an exceptional journey for youth in attendance. With extensive sessions on environment protection, leadership development, relationships and media mania the youth engaged in discussions, put forward issues and sought opinions on tackling them, said Kevin Nicholas president of the Hyderabad Youth Association.

"Over five days, we learnt how to bind youth together and how the older generations of youth can hand down their experiences to shape upcoming generations, besides learning a lot about the various cultures," said Vikas, a participant at the conference from Varanasi.
