Six more logistic parks to come up around Hyderabad
Hyderabad: After setting up logistic parks at Mangalpally and Batasingaram, the state government has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) for logistic parks which would come up at Lakdaram and Patancheru.
The HMDA has taken up the development of logistics parks at Batasingaram and Mangalpally in public-private partnership (PPP) mode to provide infrastructure facilities towards meeting the increasing demand for facilities related to freight logistics.
The HMDA has envisaged the development of logistics parks as integrated one-stop facilities for freight operators, third-party logistic service providers, cargo handling companies, truck drivers, warehousing, parking etc.
The Mangalpally logistics park was developed on 22 acres. The logistic Park at Mangalpally is already operational and developed on 40 acres at a cost of Rs. 40 crore through collaboration between HMDA and Ancon group. The logistic park at Batasingaram is jointly developed by the HMDA and the Truck Dock in a PPP mode on 40 acres at a project cost of Rs 40 crore.
