E-files to turn Telangana paperless
The officials said that the e-file system will soon be launched in the Secretariat departments.
Hyderabad: The state will soon have a paperless government. Following the state government’s decision to introduce an e-file system, the IT department is giving passwords to all officers who deal with files department-wise. The officials said that the e-file system will soon be launched in the Secretariat departments.
The transition to e-file system will ensure movement is faster. At present, physical files are put up for final approval by the officials concerned; the process sometimes takes anything upwards of two weeks. The e-file system is expected to do away with these inordinate delays, as higher officials can keep tabs on each file. Besides, the TS government is establishing the CM’s Core Dashboard, on the lines of the AP government.
