WAYANAD: A  six-member Navy search team on Tuesday failed to find the bodies of the four persons who drowned in the Banasura Sagar reservoir after their country boat capsized on Sunday night. They had gone for fishing along with three others at 11.45 p.m., and  the three swam to safety.   The district administration sought the help of Navy after the search  by the police and fire force did not  yield any results.

The heavy rain and strong winds hampered the search operations. The dead trees submerged in the water also obstructed the swimmers. The missing persons were identified as Sachin Nellippoyil, 20, Binu Molekkunnil, 42, Melvin Manithotti, 34, all hailing from Chembukkadav, near Thusharagiri in Kozhikode, and Wilson Padinjarekkuzhiyil from Wayanad.
