Narsaraopet: Police trace missing minor girl

 VIJAYAWADA: Narsaraopet police have on Friday traced the minor girl who went missing on Wednesday.

Police said the 17-year-old girl of Narsaraopet in Guntur district had been admonished by her mother for frequently avoiding college on the pretext of ill health. On Wednesday, the mother insisted that she go to college.

While the daughter did go to college, she did not return home in the evening. Worried over her safety, her parents lodged a complaint with the police on Thursday.

Police booked a case immediately and formed special parties to search for her. The girl was found at APSRTC bus station in Vijayawada and handed over to her parents.
