Azaadi Mahotsav run held in Karimnagar
Karimnagar collector R.V. Karnan asked youth to play some outdoor game or the other, instead of remaining addicted to their mobile phones
KARIMNAGAR: Karimnagar collector R.V. Karnan, along with police commissioner V. Satyanarayana, inaugurated the 2-K run organised as part of Azaadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav celebrations by Nehru Yuva Kendram at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Stadium in Karimnagar on Saturday.
While advising physical fitness for all, Karnan asked youth to play some outdoor game or the other, instead of remaining addicted to their mobile phones. Yoga or exercise daily for at least 30 minutes is must, he underlined.
Commissioner Satyanarayana pointed out that stress and strain have increased among people. He advised youth to change their lifestyles and concentrate on their health.
The 2-K run was organised from Ambedkar stadium to Telangana Chowk. Many officials participated in the run, including additional collectors Garima Agarwal and G.V. Shyam Prasad Lal.
