Calicut University ahead in publishing results
The Post Examination Schedule System (PES) introduced in the Pareeksha Bhavan has helped it publish the results fast.
KOZHIKODE: Calicut University has shown remarkable progress in the publication of results over the years. The University was able to publish the results of a majority of PG courses this year while many other universities are yet to announce it. The Post Examination Schedule System (PES) introduced in the Pareeksha Bhavan has helped it publish the results fast.
“Earlier, there were many complaints regarding the delay in publication of results in the Varsity which led us to introduce this system. We made a timetable for the entire process that should be followed till the publication of results of a particular exam,” said a Praeeskha Bhavan employee. “Calicut University is publishing results well ahead of other universities. This year especially, most of the PG results came one month in advance compared to last year,” added Dr P Sivadasan, Syndicate Exam Committee member.
Vice-chancellor Dr K Mohammed Basheer said that the performance of Praeeksha Bhavan was praised by the NAAC team and played an important part in getting ‘A’ grade in the assessment. “One of the main positives the NAAC team pointed out was the timely publication of results which helps the students while pursuing further courses or career. The Chancellor’s quarterly assessment report also mentions the commendable job of the examination wing,” added the VC.
