Thiruvananthapuram: CPI general secretary Sudhakar Reddy on Saturday said that party state secretary Kanam Rajendran has been asked to hold bilateral talks with CPM to resolve differences that cropped up in connection with Thomas Chandy's resignation.
He said the current problem involving the two parties was only a family issue. Mr Reddy denied that the CPI tried to humiliate the Chief Minister by boycotting the Cabinet meeting. “Our party has the responsibility to improve the image of government. All contentious issues within the party will be sorted out through discussions," he said.
