Vijayawada: Former minister and Gudivada YSR Congress MLA Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao has trained his guns on BJP state chief Daggubati Purandeswari.

“No one in the world should have a daughter like Purandeswari. She caused the death of her father NT Rama Rao and is currently acting as the B Team for the Telugu Desam Party,” he said on Sunday.

Venkateswara Rao alleged that Purandeswari got a share from every corruption that happened during Chandrababu Naidu's five-year rule from 2014. “She kept silent while the sand mining mafia was on a roll.  Now she is making baseless allegations against the YSRC.”

He advised the BJP chief to control her tongue before talking against the YSRC.” In both the 2014 and 2019 elections, the people across the state rejected Purandeswari and she was indulging in loose talk.

Regarding the health complaints from Chandrababu Naidu, the former minister said the TD chief was having a habit of playing dramas. “Now, he makes such complaints to get the interim bail extended for a long period. “

He said the YSRC government collected a revenue of Rs 4000 crore from sand sale during the last four years. “Did the TD government under Naidu fetch a single rupee on this count during its five-year rule,” he asked.

"India's economic narrative is one of resilience and promise. Embracing digital transformation, the country has harnessed the power of technology to drive financial inclusion, provide essential services, demonstrate elevated levels of transparency and governance, and champion women's empowerment," Rathi added.

Besides, there is a “wide consensus" supported by economic forecasts that the real GDP growth in the second quarter is likely to turn out to be better than the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) projection of 6.5 percent in its November 16 bulletin. India’s economy expanded 7.8 percent in the first three months of the financial year and RBI governor Shaktikanta Das recently expressed his confidence in the domestic economy. “Looking at the momentum of economic activity—a few early data points have come in—I expect Q2 GDP numbers which will come at the end of November in all probability will surprise on the upside," Das said on October 31.
