CM Oomen Chandy hurt as glass door collapses

MALAPPURAM: A huge rush of UDF supporter led to the collapse of a glass door of a private convention centre injuring Chief Minister Oomen Chandy and three others during UDF convention in Perinthalmanna on Tuesday.

Chandy was on his way out after an interaction first time voters in the constituency when the glass door broke and fell down on his riht foot. He was rushed to a private hospital and given treatment. Later he carried on his scheduled campaign programmes in the district.
