Boy drowns in swimming pool after freak fall

Hyderabad: An 11-year-old class eight student drowned after he accidentally fell into the Qadri swimming pool at Balapur late Tuesday night.

The victim Mohammed Ghouse, who did not know swimming, and his friends, were playing near the pool when he slipped and fell into the water, police said.

Ghouse was the eldest child of auto driver Mohammed Dastagir from Hafiz Babanagar. Police fished out the victim's body from the pool and shifted it to Osmania general hospital for post-mortem.
