VISAKHAPATNAM: Former deputy chief minister Dharmana Krishnadas called TD president N. Chandrababu Naidu an arrogant person for the utterances he made regarding five cents of land for the poor allotted by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy in Amaravati, at the recent Pendurthi public meeting.

Staging a dharna along with party workers at Challapeta junction in Jalumuru in Srikakulam district, Krishnadas said while the Chief Minister was constructing lakhs of houses for the poor like a ‘Maha Yagnam’, Naidu said five cents was only enough for a burial ground.

“Chandrababu Naidu wants votes from the poor, but in return, he will not give them a cent of the land. Days are not far off; these poor will make Samadhi of his party,’’ Krishnadas said. He said this government was welfare-based, and even if all the forces united, Jagan Mohan Reddy would again become the CM of Andhra Pradesh.
