96 per cent candidates qualify Telangana EdCET
In biological sciences and social studies, Syeda Rauman Fatima of Hyderabad and Nimitha P. of Ranga Reddy secured first ranks.
Hyderabad: A total of 95.55 per cent candidates qualified out of 43,113 students who had appeared for the Telangana state Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET), 2019 was released by Osmania University on Wednesday.
There were 31,299 women and 9,896 men who took the test. B. Mahesh of Nalgonda district and Ch. Santhoshi of Yadadri district bagged first ranks in mathematics and physical science methodologies respectively. In biological sciences and social studies, Syeda Rauman Fatima of Hyderabad and Nimitha P. of Ranga Reddy secured first ranks.
Similarly, Afreena Azam of Hyderabad topped in english methodology.
The results were declared by Telangana State Council of Higher Education chairman professor T. Papi Reddy and Osmania University vice-chancellor professor S. Ramachandram.
