CM Jagan to inaugurate APNGOs' meet in Vijayawada today

Chief Minister will leave his residence in Vijayawada at 12:05 p.m. on Monday and proceed to inaugurate the APNGOs' Association meeting

Vijayawada:Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate the two-day state-level conference of the APNGOs’ Association at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium at Vijayawada on Monday.

Addressing a press conference, APNGOs’ Association president Bandi Srinivasa Rao said ministers Botsa Satyanarayana, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy and Jogi Ramesh, apart from government adviser (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy will participate in the first day’s session.

Srinivasa Rao underlined that thousands of NGOs from across the state, besides public sector employees and pensioners, are participating in the conference. At the conclusion of the meeting, several resolutions will be passed, including 33 per cent reservations for women in the APNGO’s body.

APNGOs’ general secretary K.V. Siva Reddy said their association has been working for the past 73 years. Its efforts have led to as many as 11 Pay Revision Commissions.

NTR district in-charge police commissioner and Eluru Range DIG G.V.G. Ashok Kumar said the Chief Minister will leave his residence in Vijayawada at 12:05 p.m. on Monday and proceed to inaugurate the APNGOs’ Association meeting. He inspected the meeting place at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium and reviewed all arrangements, including parking places and VIP seating.

Chief Minister’s programmes coordinator Talasila Raghu Ram, in-charge DCP M. Ravindranath Babu, DCPs V. Ajitha, M. Sattibabu and A.B.T.S. Udaya Rani and sub-collector Aditi Singh were present.
