KOCHI: The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations is to conduct a spot allotment for MBBS/BDS admission to vacant seats in all colleges on September 22 at old auditorium at Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, from 10 am. Students who have been allotted to govt/govt controlled self financing/private self-financing medical and dental colleges and want to cancel their admission can do so by 5 pm on September 20 by obtaining TC and other documents. These students don’t need to pay liquidated damages. However those doing so after this deadline will have to pay liquidated damages of Rs 10 lakh (for MBBS) and Rs 5 lakh (BDS).
They will be barred from appearing for the CEE’s entrance for two years. The CEE has also said that for the same course transfer will not be permitted in the spot allotment from one government college to another government college and one self-financing college to another self-financing college. However, transfer will be permitted from one course to another and in the same course from government college to self-financing college and vice-versa.
