HC summons transport senior official to be present before it on Nov. 15

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh High Court summoned the transport, roads and buildings principal secretary M.T. Krishna Babu to appear before it in person on November 15 for failing to implement the court order issued earlier.

The common high court for both AP and TS issued a direction in 2018 to give promotions to the SC employees working in the roads and buildings department after verification of their service registers. But, the court’s direction was not implemented so far.

The affected employees of the roads and buildings department moved the court and accordingly, the court directed the transport official to be present before it and explain the reasons for not implementing the court order.
